In an effort to keep the safety and health of our patients and staff a priority, we have implemented the following protocol:
If preferred and needed, Dr. Leka continues to be available online for telemedicine at Doxy.me/DrLeka. Note that this platform is HIPPA compliant and safe. You can request/initiate a video call or call into our office phone number to initiate a follow-up visit this way. Dr. Leka will be answering questions, concerns, providing professional advice on any foot and ankle related issues. Copays will be due, if any, per your insurance, and claims submitted to your insurance carrier for the time spent. A credit card will be kept on file and copay charged for the date of the telemedicine visit and receipt emailed to you for your records. Please call our office number at 215-698-6133, calls will be routed to the Doctor's cell phone and Calls or Voicemails answered in a very timely manner.

Skilled podiatrist Bruni Leka, DPM, is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and an associate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. As the owner of Foot and Ankle Excellence in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Leka is dedicated to providing compassionate and thorough care for the full spectrum of foot and ankle problems.
After earning a Bachelor of Science in biology with honors from Salem State University in Salem, Massachusetts, Dr. Leka went on to Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, where she earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. She completed a three-year surgical residency at Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia. Her residency training focused on acute and chronic wounds, inpatient and outpatient conservative and surgical care, and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgeries.
Dr. Leka sees a wide range of patients, from young children to mature adults, at her brand-new, handicap-accessible office. She offers on-site digital X-rays, SureFit™ diabetic shoes, and the KeryFlex® professional nail restoration system at Foot and Ankle Excellence.
